Joan O'Mahony

Joan O'MahonyJoan O'Mahony obtained an Honours Law Degree from University College Dublin in 1970 and qualified as a Solicitor in 1971, initially working from her home in Park Avenue, Blackrock and then moveing to the present premises in Deansgrange in 1987, which is still the Practice's offices today.

Joan completed a Diploma in Commercial Law with the Law Society of Ireland in 2006 and was shortlisted for the Danske Bank Irish Law Awards Family Law Solicitor of the Year in 2013.

Joan specialises in Family and Collaborative Law, Conveyancing and Wills and Probate work. She is a member of the South Dublin Collaborative Lawyers group and the Association of Collaborative Practitioners.

She sits on the Family Law Committee of the Law Society of Ireland and represents the Society on the National Steering Committee for Violance Against Women and the Legal Aid Board Users group.

She is currently involved in setting up the new Deansgrange Business Association.

The Practice also comprises of three support staff.
